JOB SUMMARY:
Leisureworld Caregiving Centre – Vaughan is home to 224 residents and currently has an opening for a Full Time Permanent RAI Coordinator.

RESPONSIBILITIES (But not limited to):
· Participating in all appropriate RAI MDS 2.0 orientation and training sessions
· Providing RAI MDS 2.0 education and software training to all appropriate staff members
· Managing the co-ordination and completion of the Resident Assessment, tracking forms, Resident Assessment Protocols (RAPs) and care plans
· Serving as a RAI MDS 2.0 resource for staff members
· Working in consultation with management and interdisciplinary team members to develop processes that ensure data integrity, efficient data collection process, assessment completion and data utilization
· Establishing data quality processes to evaluate MDS coding accuracy and its timely completion
· Overseeing the development and co-ordination of the data submission process
· Generating RAI MDS 2.0 reports and facilitating their use in clinical and operational decision-making
· Staff development and mentoring to support the transfer of RAI MDS 2.0 knowledge within the home
· Providing the project team with a monthly update on the home’s implementation progress

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Current registration or licensed health care practitioner
· A minimum of three years clinical, project leadership or management experience
· Proven ability to get things accomplished
· Demonstrated success leading new initiatives
· Well-developed oral and written communication skills
· Knowledge and experience with adult education strategies/facilitation
· Previous experience presenting to groups
· Well organized, with excellent time management skills
· Clear aptitude for detail-oriented work
· Ability to work with and relate to interdisciplinary team members and other internal stakeholders
· Strong problem solving abilities
· Proficient computer skills
