NQI offers a certification program for professionals who wish to be recognized for their expertise in Quality and a Healthy Workplace®.

The Leadership Excellence Program has five levels: Levels 1, 2, and 3 (NQI CEP®) cover a curriculum of quality fundamentals and operational tools; and Levels 4 and 5 (NQI CEL®) focus on the individual's leadership competencies and skills in tactical and strategic deployment.

What's in it for me?
• You will be specializing in an area that helps Canada’s overall competitiveness.
• You will learn skills that will help your organization achieve real results.
• Upon completion of the Leadership Excellence Program, you will have a validated understanding of excellence frameworks and principles, advanced operational tools, organizational assessment, leadership competencies, and tactical and strategic excellence concepts and tools.
• The Leadership Excellence Program is the perfect combination of transferable “soft” skills as well as technical “hard” skills that employers are looking for.

Feedback from NQI CEP® Candidates pulled from various NQI CEP® reflective assignments:

• My knowledge gained through working toward my NQI CEP® designation will allow me to take on a leadership role as it relates to the implementation of both a quality and healthy workplace focus.

• Obtaining my NQI CEP® designation will support my credibility as I look to lead my organization in its aspirations to support the excellence focus.

• This certification program has provided me with several essential tools that I will undoubtedly use in my career. Taking this training while preparing for the NQI-PEP process has also been beneficial as I was able to both practice and observe the skills learned in this program.

• NQI provides the solid theory to support the practical approach to incorporate excellence in organizations. As a consultant I am using and I will continue to use my knowledge base gained through my NQICEP program. I learned a lot while going through this certification and surely recommend it to leaders within organizations.

• My CEP/ CEL designation, for now, is to be for me what a PEP certification should be to an organization – an external recognition of achievement. The designation, while appreciated, is not as significant as the learning and knowledge acquired through the journey. It will also act as a motivator, a driver for me to continue to pursue the required learning to stay fresh and current. It will be a badge of accomplishment and a personal validation to both internal and external organizations that will reinforce my position as I lead discussions on quality.

• As I sit back and consider the impact of completing the NQI Certified Excellence Professional Program (NQI CEP®), I see a “different” me than when I started eighteen months ago. Although I was a quality and health proponent from the get-go, I am now somewhat of a walking advertisement….about the virtues of pursuing organizational excellence and healthy workplaces. The NQI training has provided a practical tool kit and solid platform from which to prompt strategic change with my Atlantic Canadian clients.

• The differences are obvious, as I now present concepts and use words that resonate with my clients and their needs to remain competitive and profitable. The knowledge and skills gained through completion of the NQI CEP® offer my Atlantic customers ….a real, familiar, and credible resource…available to assist them on their journey towards excellence. I believe it makes for a solid business partnership…and truly look forward to witnessing more translations of theory into practice across our various lines of business.
