The Progressive Excellence Program® (PEP) Package for Mental Health at Work® includes the licensing agreement, the Criteria, Implementation Guide, and Assessment Worksheets. Mental Health at Work® serves as a roadmap for organizations in any sector that wish to encourage, support and implement exemplary mental health-related programs in the workplace. The Mental Health at Work® program and award was developed by Excellence Canada in association with mental health and work safety professionals from across Canada.
The Implementation Guide offers organizations a planned and progressive approach to establishing a physically and psychologically safe workplace. Below each individual criterion, comments are provided to help organizations interpret the statement. Comments are for guidance purposes only. This Guide also covers the self-assessment process and practical tips and techniques for each assessment step. The self-assessment process helps organizations plan effectively for an assessment in a reasonable time frame against the Mental Health at Work® set of criteria (all levels).
