Healthy Workplace Resources
(HWR) was developed by NQI & Wellness Matters with sponsorship
from Health Canada. HWR has been tested within the private
and public sectors and vetted through health and safety
specialists from across Canada.
Purpose:
The purpose of HWR is to provide a complete, on-line source
of credible resources to facilitate the continuous improvement
of all aspects of a healthy workplace.
Description:
Resources selected are not-for-profit and, for the most
part, Canadian. HWR contains links to valuable organizations
and their specific resources. To assist your search, the
features of each resource are categorized according to type
(conference, publication, training, etc.), subject (smoking,
stress, physical activity, etc.) and NQI-PEP level (Level
One: Commitment, Level Two: Planning, etc.). You can expect
to find information to support you no matter where you are
on the healthy workplace journey. If you know of a resource
that should be added, or if you have any comments, please
let us know by contacting us.
We would like to thank CCOHS and CHN for
sharing their expertise in the development of this Web-based
resource.
Who Should Use this Resource?

to workplace and employee health and well-being would benefit
