Certified Excellence Professional (NQI CEP®)
Level 1

Fundamental understanding of excellence frameworks & principles.

Combined e-learning and classroom courses.  

In Class (2 days total)  e-learning (estimated 36 hours)  Take home 
  • Framework for Excellence - 2 days (May be eligible for exemption if your organization has already achieved NQI PEP® Level 2 (Quality) and you had direct involvement in the self-assessment or preparation of the submission.)  
  • None

Level 2

Intermediate understanding of excellence framework & operational tools.  

In Class (7 days total)  e-learning (estimated 63 hours)  Take home 
  • Introduction to Change Management – 2 hours
  • Management and Team Building – 19 hours
  • Customer Service – 23 hours
  • Time Management Strategies for Success – 2 hours
  • Operations Management – 6 hours
  • Workplace and Personal Skills – 11 hours  
  • Quest for Quality Assignment

Certified Excellence Professional (NQI CEP®)
Level 3

Advanced understanding of assessment and operational tools.  

In Class (6 days total)  e-learning (estimated 51 hours)  Take home 
  • Interactive Assessor - 6 hours Game-Based Learning
  • Choose 2 Live or Pre-recorded NQI Webinars – 2-3 hrs  
  • Management & Supervisory Skills – 15 hours
  • Human Resources – 12 hours
  • Quality Customer Service – 7 hours
  • Introduction to Balanced Scorecard – 9 hours
  • NQI CEP® Reflective Assignment (refer to Appendix for Reflective Assignment Requirements)
